Marmalade Schools is a very prestigious group of schools based here in London, with 6 beautiful locations from Clapham to Holland Park.
We approached Marmalade Schools in early 2022 as their existing website did not seem to match the prestigious brand and indeed the high quality of the schools themselves. The old website was unresponsive, had no clear call to action and was overall unengaging due to the overreliance on long pages filled with text.
We therefore went about redesigning the school website from the ground up, working in tandem with the Marmalade Schools team who began updating and condensing the content.
Once the new content was ready we began building out the custom design within Webflow and began populating the new content within it. We decided on Webflow with the client due to the design flexibility available as well as the ease of use moving forward for the client to update content as and when they wanted.
The design went through two main iterations and we settled on a design that was bright, clean and with a clear focus on the fantastic photography that they had commissioned. We also applied the distinctive orange branding to really make the website come to life as well as clearly express the Marmalade School's personality.
Once the design and build were completed and approved we made sure that the site was responsive across all device sizes and finished by adding some animations so that the page load was pleasant as well as making the CTAs interactive and engaging.
The new website has recently launched and we are confident that this new design will lead to much greater engagement with their audience as well as do justice to the Marmalade School's brand.
